I'm sure a bunch of people have said this, but this is a really sweet idea!
Alpha Chi Omega- I love their philanthropy, domestic violence are such important issues and I'm glad they're helping.
Alpha Delta Pi- I really like that their new members are Alphas, actives are Deltas and alumnae are Pis.
Alpha Epsilon Phi- Their mascot is the giraffe because it has the largest heart of any animal, I love that. I know some very sweet and friendly women in AEPhi.
Alpha Gamma Delta- I think squirrels are so cute! I also like that that call themselves a fraternity specifically because "soror" is Latin, not Greek.
Alpha Omicron Pi- The ruby is my birthstone and favorite gem. I like that they don't have a coat of arms because it's not a Greek tradition (even though I love my org's coat of arms) and their convention of letting chapters pick their own chapter names.
Alpha Phi- All the women in Alpha Phi I've met have been incredibly smart and total sweethearts. I also love ivy and think it's an awesome symbol.
Alpha Sigma Alpha- The Special Olympics is a really wonderful philanthropy, and I love ladybugs.
Alpha Sigma Tau- When a friend of mine told me he knew a woman who had joined this sorority, he accidentally identified it as a service sorority, oops! But I think that just shows how committed Alpha Sigma Tau is to philanthropy and community service, which is amazing.
Alpha Xi Delta- An astronaut is one of their famous alumnae, how cool is that? I like that their symbol is the quill as well, since I love writing.
Chi Omega- All the women and chapters I've come in contact with seem to really emphasize scholarship, get great grades and take pride in that. I also love their "backwards" chapter-naming convention.
Delta Delta Delta- Their open motto, "Let us steadfastly love one another," is beautiful.
Delta Gamma- I love that so many of their chapters host Anchor Splash. Unfortunately the chapter at my school doesn't (they have Anchor Slam, a basketball tournament), but I've always thought that Anchor Splash really makes DG stand out, and it would be so much fun to participate in!
Delta Phi Epsilon- Purple is one of my favorite colors, and I love that they were founded at a law school.
Delta Zeta- Pink and green are an adorable color combination, and the DZ line Lilly Pulitzer designed is gorgeous.
Gamma Phi Beta- The crescent moon is a beautiful symbol. I just started working with a woman in Gamma Phi Beta and she's sweet- and a quick learner on the job!
Kappa Alpha Theta- One of my APO brothers is also a Theta. Somehow she managed to pledge both in the same semester without going insane with stress, I have a ton of respect for that. Also, Sheryl Crow is a Theta alumna and one of my favorite singers ever, and the kite is an adorable symbol.
Kappa Delta- As a former Girl Scout, I love that the Girl Scouts are one of their philanthropies (and preventing child abuse is a wonderful cause as well).
Kappa Kappa Gamma- Every woman in Kappa I know is so kind and an absolute social butterfly, they could make friends with the dead. I love that literacy is their philanthropy, and the dark and light blue color combo is great.
Phi Mu- My cousin is a Phi Mu and absolutely loves her sisters.
Phi Sigma Sigma- I love that they were the first founded to accept women of all faiths. They have a lot of fantastic chapters up here in the Northeast.
Pi Beta Phi- The first person I met in college who's in a sorority is a Pi Phi, and she is an amazing person and friend. I also love that their philanthropy is literacy, what a great cause.
Sigma Delta Tau- My mom attended Cornell, so I love that Sigma Delta Tau was founded there! I love the torch symbol as well.
Sigma Kappa- Like I said above, I love purple, so I love that one of their colors is lavender and their flower is the violet.
Sigma Sigma Sigma- Again, purple is an awesome color! The skull and crossbones on their badge are so cool, and the motto behind it, "Faithful Unto Death," is awesome.
Theta Phi Alpha- I was raised Catholic, how could I not love a sorority that a Catholic bishop helped found? Also, Theta Phi Alpha and APO both have helmets on their coats of arms.
Zeta Tau Alpha- A couple of wonderful women from my high school joined ZTA and love it. The five-pointed crown is a wonderful symbol.
