I would guess (from the limited info here) that she wants you to know that it will be okay to join her house even though you don't drink, and is probably looking forward to having other non-drinkers in the house, but perhaps went about expressing this ALL WRONG.
Keep in mind that, as stressful as rush is for you as a PNM, the actives spend maybe four or five times as much time getting ready, and she is probably operating on very little sleep, no food, etc.
