Practically speaking, you should be able to do what you want at your own functions. I would just advise against it in mixed company if you want to avoid drama.

Hello everyone I know this forum is nearly one year old. I am a active member of The Order of the Eastern Star. OES is a masonic fraternity we do not step, strut etc or have a call. Every Eastern Star should act accordly and follow all bylaws and obiligation. I'm sure if your WM or WP found you stepping or calling you would be in TROUBLE.
