So sorry to hear about your job. You've always impressed me as an industrious person, so hopefully something will open up soon.
As for APO - In SGR before any soror is taken seriously as a national candidate she has to prove herself by working her way "up the ranks". Meaning, she needed to have been successful as officers and/or committee chairs on the local and regional levels first.
Keep working with APO and your time will come.
