One of our VP Scholarships had folder posted on the bulletin board for sisters to list their good grades for the week and in chapter they were read out so the sisters could be congratulated...then one was randomly drawn for a weekly prize (usually a cute sorority shirt or inexpensive piece of jewelry). It only took a couple of weeks for a ton of sisters to brag on themselves and IMO it helped make scholarship a bigger focus than it was before. Recognition and awards can spark healthy competition and encourage sisters to try just a little harder to make an A instead of a B.
Organizing study buddies is also a good idea. Having a list of sisters from different majors that are willing to tutor might be helpful. They could then be contacted by facebook or text if a sister needed help in a certain subject.
