IMHO...The program has been better in the past. There were parts that I liked but...I don't know...the tributes could have been better.
I liked India.Arie and Stevie's duet and her speech was really good. I'm glad that she has remained humble and grounded... Terry's tribute and speech was good as well...Janet Jackson's dress was so nice, but she looked like she had a hard time walking...I forgot his name, but the honoree who was rebuilding urban area's in Philadelphia...I felt that the artists who represent philly should have sang his tribute (jill scott, musiq, jaguar, etc) instead of johnny gill (glad he got a gig
), kelly price (her outfit was busy), and 112 (they tried...but no).
I caught the end of th MTV awards...I wasn't expecting Martin Lawrence on the show...that part was funny
