To the OP, hopefully someone can give their opinion about your school's recruitment, but there are two general answers we can give you: First, you can't get in if you don't try. Unless it's going to devastate you to be dropped, there's no harm in going through recruitment. As always, grades, recs, and personality will matter. The better the grades, the more complete recs, and the better your communication skills the better you'll do. Second, for COB it's always best to call the Greek life office to make sure you get up to date and correct information. I would call once you get back on campus and ask for details.
