With respect to the Aaliyah thing, the marriage was not legal b/c she lied about her age on the marriage certificate, and she was underage, thus her parents would not sign for it. I respect him for not talking about it, but he probably signed a confidentiality agreement when all of that happened anyways, and couldn't talk about it anyway.
I think the BET interview was a bad move, seeing as how he was unable to really say anything based on the advice of his lawyers. I hope he comes out a better man for this and will tell his side of the story (re: childhood abuse, etc.) so that we can understand why he did the things he did.
Again, my problem is with those people who KNEW he was abusing children and said NOTHING!!!! Yes, he knew better, but did it anyway, but don't ppl have the responsibility to tell if they see someone doing wrong?
This whole situation is a HOT MESS!!!
