In my experience, it is difficult to prove a crime a gainst a person with an uncooperative witness. I mean what creates more reasonable doubt that the person who you say is the victim getting on the stand and saying it is not me, it did not happen. It helps that there is a tape but it is not a guranteed conviction by a long shot. The child porn charges are easier for them to make stick.
