I didn't have any finals this semester, and only one project due during finals week. So, I was at home for most of the week, only went up to school twice - once to talk to the teacher, and then on thurs of that week to turn in the paper, and stay the night and finish moving out the next day.

After I was all packed up, but still had some errands to run, it began to rain. The boyfriend and I got some lunch, sold back some books, and took pictures of my empty apartment.
Finally, I decided to leave. The rain had slacked up a bit. As I drove, the rain was off and on. I was about 15 miles from home when the rain started suddenly. I was going down the downslope of a small overpass, where cars would be merging in at the bottom on the right. As I braked to slow down, my back wheels spun out and I began to hydroplane. I went from the right lane to the left, thought "I'm going to flip in the median" then spun towards the right lane again and thought "i'm going to flip onto the grass by the onramp" and then spun around with the car perpindicular to the traffic, and all i could think was "please god save me." Finally the car stopped, and I saw cars were going around me to avoid hitting me. I still don't know how I was that lucky.

I really appreciate each day a lot more now.
