Not totally life changing but this definitely made me rethink the way I drive.
Just this past March, the day before we got back from Spring Break, one of my sisters died in a car accident. It was a side impact on the drivers side door. She died almost immediately.
It was so hard on all of us because she had been taken from us so suddenly. There were no goodbyes. It made us realize that any of us in the chapter could die tomorrow. Life is very fragile.
When I drive, I watch out for the other cars a little more and I take my time. No more speeding or traffic weaving. It's better to arrive somewhere late than not at all.
