We actually have a lot of Canadians working in the health system where I work.... legally, in professional jobs like nursing! Come to think of it, our Lame Duck Governor is a Canadian by birth. Oh wait, she's here legally too.
And, I realized that I have to take back everything I said about $9/hr being a livable wage. My daughter is making about that babysitting, 4 hours a week, and is no longer asking me for money for the movies or taco bell. Hmm, I'm still covering her utilities, phone bill, housing, food and medical expenses though.
