The sorority I belong to is a professional sorority, Sigma Alpha, we are an organization for women in agriculture and natural resources. Check out our national page for more info

Sigma Alpha is a national sorority, but only two of our chapters are greek. Purdue is one and the other seems to be slipping my mind. Our chapter has been split on the decision to join the greek system, but after talking with panhellenic council, we really don't think it will happen. We do participate with greeks in events, mixers, etc. Mostly AGR and Farmhouse, but the Pi Phi's have asked us to do a few sisterhood events with them come fall.
This past year we found a home

right on frat row and the campus seems to accept us very well. Right now we are focused on growing (who isn't though) and just keep a positive and professional image.
