forget FAO---go to the new big Toys R Us. i think it's on 40th not sure. absolutely unbelievable in there.
can't get too close to ground zero to see anything. viewing platform will take the whole day. just walk past it. you honestly can't see anything from the platform. see my thread about ground zero if you want a detailed description of what it looks like.
empire state building--nice to see but don't waste a day on it
