This opposite-as-you-can-get-to-an-SEC-campus has 5 national sororities and 5 local sororities, all of whom rush together. This was also 9 years ago. Things have been tightened up everywhere considerably since then. I also think they had a whack ass Greek advisor. aephialum - 9 times out of 10, the women were probably lying through their teeth about being hazed. They just knew the right button to press.

In other words...you cannot and will not be released, especially if the chapter is under total. Contact the chapter and see if they're doing rush or a pledge class in the spring that you could pledge with. They're most likely your last shot at Greek life on this campus.
