The miners get physical checks right away and then have to go to a hospital for physical and psychological observation for 2 days. And they have psychologists on standby for the next months.. Never have people been underground this long and came out alive, that had to have such an impact on them.
I stayed up last night to watch the first one come out, and they're up to 12 now!

Yes and they have spent millions of dollars since August(?) preparing the hospitals and the rescue attempt itself.
This is awesomeness. I cried the most when the miner was rescued and the FIRST thing he did was get on his knees and prayed. It makes me teary eyed just typing about it. He was also the prayer leader. CNN was talking about the role of faith in health, etc. Amen to that.
