From Kappa's blog a few months ago:
Parade of Flags: The Parade of Flags was introduced in 1986. It takes place the night before Convention opens and is the visual representation of Kappa’s permanent roll of chapters according to the dates of their founding. Alpha Deuteron Chapter leads the parade in honor of our first chapter, Alpha, founded at Monmouth College in 1870. The final chapter in the parade is the most recently installed chapter. In 2010, this chapter will be Eta Omicron, Northeastern University in Boston, installed in April 2010.

I know from my wife's Kappa history book (
History 2000: Kappa Kappa Gamma Through the Years, I think) that Kappa has a banner. I'm not finding a picture of it online, but it is (appropriately) in shades of blue with two or three large fleur-de-lis on it. I got the impression it's only used at convention or other national functions.
If I can get a good scan I'll post it.
ETA: Here it is. I like this page because it also shows the seal and the shingle/membership certificate.

Can you describe it?
