Agreed. Schools should be allowed to set rules, and I don't see not allowing piercings as any different than having a dress code.
At any rate, I could claim that I'm a Rastafarian and need to smoke up for my religion. You can bet that it would get me in trouble with school, with the law, and would certainly prohibit me from keeping my security clearance.
