I always wanted to be a veterinarian (my first choice), but I just couldn't get with science no matter how hard I tried.

When I got to college, I majored in my second choice while taking some science classes that I needed anyway. That's when I found out I did a good thing by not being a pre-veterinary major.
My second choice was to become a journalist. That's what I have my degree in, but I don't use it. I ended up in healthcare.
My third choice was teaching. My senior year in high school, I enrolled in the Teacher Cadet program to get a feel for the profession.
