It truely is sad at some of the pricing that goes on onsome of the Badges! I too hate it but really ran out of cash to buy some!
But the best thought is that a Brother got your Badge!
I keep in touch with some of teh Brothers that bid for our LXA Badges and we do not bid against each other so to keep the price from getting stupid!
There are some collectors such I think wptw who has been on site and collects for his own benefit, not to gouge others! One of my own Brothers collects Badges and when he gets them all, he will donate to his Chapter! I sure that would be an awesome presentation.
I would like my Chapter to have that alos but cannot afford it so they will have to put up with the Lacal Badge i designed and Pledge Button, TKN Badge ( thye merged with LXA in 1939 ), and my original Badge!
A good collector is someone who appreciates beautiful things and shares with others.
