As members of the Greek community, there's often been times when people outside your organization (or Greek system as a whole) says something that's really off. Let's share.

I'll start with my favorites (I'm a member of Triangle):

* Several GDIs see the delta-t and ask: "Are you a tri-delt?" My response: "Don't think I'm hot enough..."

* Here in California, most people's views of Greek life consist solely of what's in the likes of Animal House, etc. People actually give dirty stares instead of laugh when anybody jokes about "party all week, nailing girls, and hazing"

* When we were new, the pledges (and sometimes a brother) often gets corrected by other Greeks: "No, you're not a Triangle, you're a Delta!"
