	COB = continuous open bidding. The technical term is actually COR = continuous open recruitment, but many still call it COB because it was called that for a long time.Quote:

 COB is a more informal/relaxed recruitment. Generally speaking, chapters may COB if they still have spots available after formal recruitment. So typically, not every chapter is going to have COB.
 
 The structure depends on the school and the chapter. Example: when I went through COB, I attended a couple smaller events (lunch, cookie baking, etc), then was invited to a game night. Others have more formal events.
 
 Some chapters have invite-only events, while others may openly publicize or have sign-ups for them. Your Greek Life Office is the best source of info about how COB works at your school.
