Alright, so I'm back from my second round, which definitely did not go as I expected...
I got my schedule, and I was only invited back to Mercedes, Kurt and Brittany. I was a tad dismayed at first since I had been cut by most of my top, but then decided to keep my chin up because, as I've been reminded, it only takes one!
First up for me was Mercedes, which I liked quite a bit better than last time. Their skit was absolutely adorable, and I generally liked the girls I talked to. Again, nothing incredibly magical, but I'm definitely glad I was invited back.
Next came Brittany, which I ended up LOVING. The skit was pretty funny, but once I started talking to the girls I felt like I was with my crowd. I know I'm not supposed to have a favorite, but this was just a really fantastic round. I'm really glad I got invited back here, because I loved this house. (Cross your fingers that that doesn't jinx me!!!)
Last up was Kurt, which had a great skit and super sweet girls. I enjoyed getting to talk with these ladies, and I felt very at-ease at this house.
All in all, this was a good round. I liked all of the houses a lot!!!

Honestly, I'm a little thankful that I didn't have to put any in the bottom because I really enjoyed all of the sororities.
Round 3 is tomorrow, so here's hoping that none of these lovely ladies drop me!!! Expect another update after the round.

I'm glad you kept an open mind after round one- many of the awkward moments and obvious bumps are due to first time jitters and getting into the swing of things. Recruitment is pretty darn tough on the chapters too
it's great to see that overall this round went well and one of your former bottom 3 is now in your top. Things change quickly over that very short yet long week! Best of luck for round 3.
ETA: The "hope to see you next time" comments in round one is the semi-official way to end things. It can be considered an infraction to say "see you tomorrow" because it can potentially lead to false hopes. In part it's because one person really doesn't control the decisions, in part they don't want to pressure you too much (infraction), and in part because they don't want to intentionally lead you on. Like I said before, the chapters have a lot to think (and worry!) about.
