This story does have a happy ending after all.
I was offered a bid tonight!
(It's a secret, though) Bid night is Thursday, I believe.
Tonight we had dinner at a local restaurant, which was again, a lot of fun. Then we went back to the house for dessert. And then more Apples to Apples.
And then just chatting. And then the president pulled me aside and offered me a bid!
Ahhh kind of on top of the world right now.
Beach day tomorrow!
