I have to admit it - I judged this thread before I read it. When it first appeared, I read the first few lines, thought, "What, 17 years ago? That's not old or retro. That girl is still a baby. Not interested"
But, I read it tonight, and I LOVE IT! Hats off to you, and my sincerest apologies for being close-minded! I laughed out loud and smiled the whole way through. Plus, I did enjoy the immediate gratification of reading the whole story in one sitting!
I especially loved your follow-up assessment, description of the sorority experience. It is dead on.
