I remember when my parents used to school us on music like that. They'd get out the 8-tracks and albums and tell us what's what. That's one reason why I still prefer older music and listen to the old folks stations.  |
Yep.
I'll hear things like "Nicki Minaj/Lil Wayne/Kanye/OtherRandomArtist is so original! The best ever!" and end up letting them know that 90% of the artists' songs are sampled from older artists.
