Here is day two of set one!

Today I started off a little sluggish as the initial excitement had worn off in the heat and all the talking of the previous day, but I got up, got ready and headed out for the second day of set one!

Emily: I had some preconceived notions about this house but I tried to put them aside (and did successfully) and walked in with a smile. I got a really nice girl and we talked about.. I honestly don't remember what other than movies (it seems every girl got asked about movies). Either way, toward the end of the conversation the girl said “I'm not really a thinker. I believe what my dad tells me.” I was shocked, and honestly didn't know what to say. I got bumped shortly after that and talked to a few other really sweet girls. The song was adorable (and I had it stuck in my head all day!) but, didn't really feel a connection.

Richard: I was really excited about this chapter as they have one of the highest GPAs at my school (which is really important to me). The house was amazing, the girls with gorgeous, and they seemed to genuinely like me. Talked to three girls, about leadership, cooking, summer jobs, and shopping (I actually got a really good tip on how to shop smarter. Ha ha) and I really enjoyed this house.

Luke: I was excited to get to this house as it was so new to campus and it was still growing as a chapter. I talked to a girl who I forgot her name, lets call her Sammie, about their house, leadership opportunities, and how we had nearly the exact same double major (her second major is my minor). I loved her! I knew that I wanted to come back here! The second girl was also so sweet! This became my favorite!

Michel: I had a rec letter for this house so I was excited to see all the girls here. I first talked with a girl I'll call Morgan. I honestly have no idea what she said to me. It was so loud in this house! I was lip reading most of the time and even then I have no clue what she was talking about. Most of the time I nodded and smiled. The house was cute, and so were the girls, but I knew I wouldn't be getting an invite, and that was okay.

Lane: Last house of the day, woo! I was so exhausted by the time this house came around that I barely wanted to talk. I talked to four girls about jobs and traveling (yes, I talked about the same topics with each girl. Each one had such an interesting story of traveling!) All the girls were dressed exactly the same, down to the heels and jewelry. Each of them was already taller than me, and then add three inch heels and I was looking up to every one of them! I don't know, we didn't really seem to have that much in common..
