Hey! You're right...I just found this...DZ was once at
Brock University (that's in St. Catherines, Ontario)- It was Omicron Tau (1994-2000) chapter.

A couple of Conventions ago, sisters tried to pass changing the name of Delta Zeta to Delta Zeta International Sorority. It didn't pass, but for a while, that is what we were calling ourselves. That was because we were finally in Canada. LOL! I think it's funny that being in Canada would make us international
Yes...I know it is kind of strange to think of Canada as "international" (because we don't have that same "sexy cachet" as say, a European country?), but indeed, it's International!

I did notice that some NPC sororities with Canadian chapters have adopted the "International" part into their name...Gamma Phi Beta is one (4 Canadian chapters), Alpha Phi (6 Canadian chapters) is another. Maybe when the day comes when DZ has more Canadian chapters established, the "international" thing will be revisited.
