AnchorAlumna - you are correct - you must be invited to the Houses & the Parties. When my daughter visited last year she stayed with girls she was friends with & had gone to HS with. Yes, I'm sure she prob did some things I wouldn't want to know about
but I also had to trust that she would make the right decisions. I know for a fact that she was invited to several parties & teas in the Spring as a result of the girls she knew from HS or new girls she had met when she visited Bama. As for the House invites during Rush - I don't know for sure that her prior visits were why she was invited back but I have to think that played a part in it.
