We believe things happen for the best. Perhaps my daughter needs time to focus on grades and getting the hang of being on her own. Perhaps in time, as she makes her way on campus, she will have opportunities next time in recruitment that were not available this time.
Thanks to all who have sent private messages of support and encouragement - it's sad now, but hopefully I have gained experience in this process that can help someone else in the future.

I'm sorry things didn't work out. But tell her to enjoy ALABAMA! What a wonderful University with so many opportunities! Who knows what next year will have in store for her too!
