It will just depend on the campus. On some campuses it can be hard for juniors and seniors to get bids, though I would definitely explain that you will be on campus for two more years. Also take into consideration that you're 25 and if you get offered a bid you will be a new member in a pledge class of mostly 18 year olds, guided by officers that are usually 19-21. Do give that consideration, just to make sure being in that situation wouldn't bother you.
GPA requirements vary by organization, and some will take grade risks (PNM's who do not meet the set grade requirement)...but some will not.
I don't think it will hurt to go ahead and go through recruitment, just know that for some chapters, grades will be a black and white issue. Sign up and go into the week knowing that. Just be yourself, keep an open mind, and have fun! Worst case scenario: you don't get offered a bid, but you've met many new friends on your campus!
PS-A good way to prepare yourself is to find out who your campus's Greek Coordinator is and discuss your concerns with him/her. They will best be able to tell you how to navigate recruitment on your campus.
