Ok now I have to respond (I have been watching this thread from the beginning). Being a relatively new member of GC, I can appreciate how easy it is to violate the unwritten rules of posting. However, since they are "unwritten" it is pretty hard for people to know them huh?

As for repeating topics, I personally don't see anything wrong with it. Just as a new member may not have read past threads, there are new members that didn't have the opportunity to participate in the past threads as well. So continuing these things can bring lots of new perspective.

Would it be better to revive an old thread or start a new one if a person wanted to discuss a certain "old" topic? Cause either way, they would be at the top of the list of recent posts!!!!!

Finally, if you don't like it, don't read it. Just like people have freedom of posting ANYTHING they want, readers have the freedom to not read threads they don't agree with.

By continuing to talk about the validity and wiseness of this thread, you just keep it at the top of the list. Don't like it, ignore it! Maybe it'll go away.

btw- I think these nicks are hilarious!
