Well, I don't think it is possible to have a flashing neon sign
, however the AKA's have permenent threads on top of their forum for newbies, titled "Important:SEARCH,SEARCH,SEARCH!" and "Announcement:Pearls of wisdom". Pearls Of Wisdom is a thread about going over the unwritten rules and taboos of the forum. If a newbie (or a dumb oldie) "breaks" those "rules", their post or thread will be deleted or locked. Therefore there will be no excuse for the "ignorant newbies" and "bitching" oldies.
Perhaps the mods from other forums can "copy" them, if the AKA's don't mind. Maybe...just maybe this will slow down some of the "drama". It worked for them.
