Here's my advice:
Read the stickied threads on Recruitment.
Use the search box to look up terms you don't know or understand, to read about others' experiences at your school, etc.
Check your school's Panhellenic website for specifics on your school's recruitment.
If your school has a competitive recruitment, recommendations are usually suggested; do get them for each sorority on campus.
