I am from Texas actually, so I know what you're saying - I love the idea of the turquoise. But am going out of state for school, and as you said was a possibility, I kinda get the feeling that it wouldn't be right where I'm going.
I picked up some precious gold bracelets today while I was out, will probably wear pearl earrings, and still undecided on my shoes. My mom is telling me to go with maybe a cream color or gold pumps (which was what I was thinking), but considering maybe going more vibrant.. hm. Also, someone commented on the time frame I have to figure it out... I don't have too terribly much time to play around with colors (wish I did!) as I leave relatively soon.
PS. a "dress the PNMs" thread is the best idea I've heard all day
