This is so true. I was scared to DEATH of the girl who was prez when I pledged. It's only in the last couple years reconnecting with her through facebook that I've been able to see what a funny, fun and cool person she is.

) If it's the former, try talking to some of the more recent alums, especially the girls who were president or had EC offices. Trust me, they want to know what's going on and they will help you. If it's the latter, try reaching out to some of the chapter presidents from other chapters. Sometimes it just helps to vent and know you're not alone.
AOE's suggestion about talking to other presidents on campus is great as well.
