I am a Gal of the 80s and better yet i grew up near the valley where speaking valley girl and vans slip ons and OP clothing line were the norm. So i have to say a close close second to Steel magnolias" is "Fast times at Ridgemont High" . That was and is still an awesome movie fur sure!
