Generally speaking, if you pick up a print and you first thought is "WHOA that is way too loud/bright!" then it probably is.
Also, some advice about dresses:
When you're trying stuff on, make sure you sit, stand, bend over, etc. in it.
If you can't bend over without falling out of it, reconsider.
If you're fidgeting with it in the dressing room every 5 seconds to keep it up, that's probably what you'll be doing during Pref. Get a different size, or something with straps.
Another tip: Remember, you're dressing to impress women, not guys.
That super cleavage dress that your boyfriend thinks is hot, is probably not a good look for recruitment.
Sure, it sounds like a no-brainer, but you'd be surprised how many girls think "my bf likes this" = cool for recruitment.
