It's so funny that AKA2'D would post this topic. I was just in the lingerie department of Marshall Fields yesterday. My seven year old daughter, picked up a thong and innocently asked "What is this?" I couldn't help laughing, but I told her. I didn't go into detail, I just said, "it's a thong." She responded, "A thong? Oh okay." And that was that. She didn't make any other comments about thongs for the rest of our time in the underwear section. However, she did ask me repeatedly if she could have a bra.

While I realize that my daughter is not, "every women", I can't help thinking that little girls will not be interested in thongs, unless their parents (read: guardians) or older associates (read: relatives) introduce the idea to them.
