I went. We had a ball! Soror Kelly Price brought the house down (so did special guest Shirley Murdock...we had no clue...and yes, they sang "As We Lay" together - I was done). Kelly even stayed for some of the festivities during the week - she and her family even attended the Awards banquet. Mary Mary tore it up too at the Prayer & Praise Breakfast. A good time was had by all.
I will post my pics as soon as they are developed (throw away camera...so what).
Oh and Palm Springs is hella HOT!!! I've never felt heat like that before in my life; felt like I was literally being cooked. Can you say 100 degrees at night? Yeah. Exactly. Beautiful place but I will not be returning any time soon. The boule 2010 slogan was definitely fitting..."On Fire to Serve!" We sure were...literally.
