Who has the better confrerence doesn't matter as much team wise as who has the best individuals. It is hard to call pac-10, for example, a good confrerence if say their best player is from the east coast. Doesn't happen always but many schools recruit for players all over the nation. Individual schools and conferences are merely "places to play" in my opinion.
And I still agree with what delt alum says, those small time confrerences like the Wcc or the Colonial conference play for the love of the game without the hope of being "noticed".
