My APO chapter had a lot of people who were also in social fraternities and sororities - in fact, several of the officers while I was active were also social Greeks. Our rush happens each semester, a couple weeks into the semester, and does not conflict with IFC/PHA rush. The exact structure/schedule of rush differs with each semester/rush chair, but in general there are a few different rush meetings and socials on different nights of the week. (Rushees only have to attend one event) Induction comes at the end of rush - when I was pledging and active we had one main induction date and one or two smaller alternate inductions for those who could not make the main one.
