I read the original post, but thanks for the recap.
My campus will accept recommendations but does not require them. Sending a resume would be overkill on my campus. Our recruitment application has places for all the information that one would put on a resume anyway.
In the four years I was there, we never got a picture from a PNM. Not once.
This is the reason why I suggest she contact the Greek Life office ON HER CAMPUS.
ETA: It seems like the chats are probably like a virtual orientation to the campus - we had sessions on Greek Life during orientation, too, although not online, so I can't speak to how competitive a campus may or may not be based on just that.
