As far as I know there was no National Beta Sigma Alpha. (though if there were I would definately be interested). Alpha Phi Omega is a National Community Service Fraternity founded on principles derived from the Boy Scout Oath and Law. In the beginning there was a great deal of organizational support from BSA nationally and previous scouting membership was required. As such many of the early locals set up that joined Alpha Phi Omega were Beta Sigma Alpha (BSA)
