As the 'boss' of the Rho Chis at one school, I have several stories but this one didn't even involve the rushees. The last night before bids, we all went to one sorority's chapter room and we were worn out. The two Rho Chis whose chapter room we were using were sprawled out on a sofa with their eyes shut. When the PH secretary called the first one's name on the roll, she said something other than 'here'. The second one's name was then called and she said the same word.
She opened her eyes, jumped up, and started hitting the first girl with a pillow, yelling, "Muff! You made me do that!"
Being so tired + being in their own chapter room= the first girl responding to the roll call with their secret word.
