Sorry Tom. congrats on the find tho. yeah, jono! I have had the book for a few weeks, great bathroom reading. Just get home from work at 9pm and crash out. Our copies at work is on the blink, and we are using this little crappy one that would die if I tried to copy the whole thing. Kinkos was an option, just needed to get off the ass and do it. Hell, I have been so tired lately, my truck hasnt been washed in months.

Its a great read. Like the condensed articles from the C&C. Not very well organized. Pretty much all written by Chuck Psyer. Amazing font of info, great guy, but he writes like he talks, a rambeling sort of way without much organization, with a bit of revisoinism. For the centenial, I would like to see more anecdotes (like the white rose of LXA was made up. TKN had a red rose, but McIntosh thought it looked like a drop of ketchup on the new coat of arms mock ups, so he reccomended a white rose)and good hard history. Yeah, yeah mason was cool. So what else happened? Why did Cole decide to do this thing. Why did McIntosh rush (not how, but why). Debate and dissent within the org in the early days, legislation passed and not passed at the Ga's. It couldnt have been all one big happy story the whole way through. Theres no mention of the ditching of pledgeship. Just that it was done. Who favored it? Who opposed it (schools - large vs. small, etc)? How did the vote go down? The historical tension between the undergrads and IHQ, and the undergrads and board of councelors at GA. How risk management has changed the fraternity and all of greeks for ever. The story (in depth of how racial diversity was achieved (or not) in LXA in the 60's. The effect of Vietnam on our org. those kinds of things.
