LOL. I think (hope) PIKA2001's trying to be tongue-in-cheek.
Perceptions of these political parties exist for a reason. It doesn't mean that everyone who identify with these political parties are a certain way. The Dixiecrats, although they left the Democratic party, are an indication that these political labels are not representative of the viewpoints of those who identify as "Democrat" or "Republican."
Democrats and Republicans all suck.
