Maybe not, but it comes down to what the parents allow their children to leave the house in. I can't speak for everyone's families but most parents give their daughters an age on what they can do like date, trade stockings for panty hose, high heels, lipstick and makeup. Values only mean something to the individual. If your daughter starts off with all of these coming of age items, will she value them later?
