Well I read that post and so did a lot of you and your reaction was that the teacher shouldn't do that and the girls should be allowed to wear whatever underwear they want. But here you are talking as if the thought of thong underwear is competely gross. I do not think that preteens should be wearing it but when I was 14, I was in high school. Now is it so wrong for a high school girl to be wearing a pair of thong panties? There was a new report put out this week on children maturing a lot faster now days. There were reports about a children as young as six starting adolescences. Children are maturing a lot faster and maybe A&F are playing on that. And for goodness sakes it's just underwear!

Hi UDZETA
I participated in the thread that you speak of yes, it is wrong for an EDUCATOR to check and see what kind of underwear a kid has on. And yes, it still believe that you should not be making THONGS for an age group of 10 to 14 year olds, which translates into 3rd/4th graders through 8th graders!

Who cares about pantylines in 4th grade? Shoot, who was wearing tight jeans in the 4th grade? I am all for thongs

but not for kids. What's next, thongs for Barbie?????
