I love this thread. Here's my input:
1. If they do a SATC3, I will see it only because I am a member of the SATC fan club (or cult). I'm bothered by SATC2 but will like it more if I take BabyPink's advice and pretend it isn't really SATC but just random actresses.
2. I never liked Aidan. Never. I never found him cute. I never thought his niceness matched Carrie's personality and behaviors. I really think that Carrie needed John J. Preston (I just wanted to show off that I remember his real name
) to humble her and teach her that she isn't the hottest. His model wife who broke her teeth was hotter although she lacked the Carrie personality.
3. I liked Aidan more than the French artist Carrie dated right before she got slapped and ran into Big in Paris and he said "you're the one." I like the actor (dancer) who played the character, but hated the character. It was so random.
4. SJP is wonderful. I always thought that she's cool as Carrie and beyond her role as Carrie--eversince that old movie where she played a crackhead mom. In fact, I like all of the SATC characters and all of the lead actors and actress. Random confession, I know.
